Baltimore Public Schools / Baltimore, Maryland
Green and Sustainable Services, with the help of Chem-Aqua, has allowed Baltimore public schools to fulfill water sustainability objectives. Water treatment programs for the heating/cooling systems in 68 of the public schools under the administration of Baltimore County in Maryland were upgraded. GSS and Chem-Aqua implemented a “HandiChem” water treatment system. The HandiChem system reduces water usage while also saving energy. In addition, this system is ultimately better for the environment. Because the system allows heating and cooling equipment to operate more efficiently, there have been savings in operating costs for the Baltimore County Schools as well.
Public schools in the Baltimore area now have a water treatment program that is environmentally sound, cost effective, efficient, and technically advanced. Read more information about how Green and Sustainable Services helped to advance water treatments for Baltimore Public Schools here.
