Tinker Air Force Base / Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Between 2012 and 2015, Green and Sustainable Services served as the prime contractor for a water pretreatment program that was established at the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. GSS worked to provide pretreatment, preventive, and remedial maintenance of the industrial reverse osmosis water purification systems on the base. NCH Corporation’s Chem-Aqua Inc. served as the sub-consultant for this project. The recommended pretreatment program is designed to help optimize plant processes, improve productivity, and realize cost savings.

Tinker AFB is the headquarters of the Air Force Materiel Command’s (AFMC) Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), which is the worldwide manager for a wide range of aircraft, engines, missiles, software and avionics and accessories components. The host unit at Tinker is the 72nd Air Base Wing, which provides services and support for the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center and its tenant organizations.
